Easy Cinnamon Muffins Recipe

Eat cinnamon muffins for breakfast and midday snacks! These are light, moist, and fluffy. With coffee, they make a pleasant fall treat.  


For the Muffins: – 2 cups all-purpose flour (240g) – ¾ cup granulated sugar (150g) – 2 teaspoons baking powder – 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon – ¾ teaspoon salt – ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg – ¾ cup milk (180mL) – 5 tablespoons unsalted butter melted (83g) – 2 large egg – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For the Cinnamon Sugar Topping: – ⅓ cup granulated sugar (75g) – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon –▢3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted


For the Muffins:- Warm the oven up to 350°F. Use cooking oil to grease a muffin pan that doesn't stick.  

Step 1

Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg in a big bowl with a whisk.   

Step 2

Mix the milk, butter, eggs, and vanilla in a small bowl with an electric mixer. Add the milk mixture to the flour mixture and mix it in just a little.  

Step 3

Fill up about two-thirds of the way to the top of each muffin cup with batter.  

Step 4

Bake the muffins for 20 minutes, or until a wooden pick stuck in the middle comes out clean.  

Step 5

For Cinnamon Sugar Topping:- Mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl. Spread butter on top of the warm muffins and then cover them in cinnamon sugar. Place on a wire rack to cool.
