Step 2
Lightly oil. The paper should hang over the sides so you can lift the baked bars easily.
Step 3
Make:
Mix oats, coconut, and peanuts in a big bowl. Set aside. Mix honey, salt, and vanilla with melted butter. Pour mixture over oats.
Step 4
Mix well with a spatula to coat all dry parts. Press this mixture into the baking pan tightly and evenly. To obtain an equal surface, I use the back of a measuring spoon or glass.
Step 5
Bake:
The top should be golden brown after 20 minutes in the middle of the oven. Finish chilling in the pan.
Step 6
Then refrigerate for 30-60 minutes. Remove the block from the pan and cut it into 12 rectangular bars using a sharp knife.
Step 7
Place chocolate in a heatproof basin over simmering water to produce chocolate bars. Cook until almost melted, stirring periodically. Let last pieces melt after removing from heat.
Step 8
Dip bars in chocolate. Store them chocolate-side up on a baking sheet or platter in the fridge. Chill until chocolate sets.
Step 9
You can stack or containerize cold bars. Eat granola bars within a week after refrigeration.
