Tuna Noodle Casserole Recipe

On top of Tuna Noodle Casserole are crispy breadcrumbs and cheese. The casserole is made with smooth noodles and tuna. This is a basic quick meal that only needs one pot to make.

Put the oven on to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. A 9x13 baking dish should be lightly greased and then left aside.

Make sure the egg noodles are cooked to the al dente stage, as directed on the packet. Drain them, then put them to the baking dish that has been prepared.

Put the big pan on medium heat and add the butter. Let it melt. Put in the chopped onion and cook for five minutes.  

Then add the garlic and cook for thirty seconds more. It will take another 5 minutes of cooking after you add the mushrooms and onions.

Stir in the flour, and cook for one minute. Slowly add the chicken broth and then the milk while stirring all the time.

Bring the mix to a slow boil, then let it cook for a few minutes until it gets thick. Mix in the sour cream until it's all mixed in.

Peas that have been frozen and tuna that has been drained are the two components that should be combined in order to produce the mixture.

Over the noodles that are already in the pan, pour the mixture. Distribute a substantial amount of cheddar cheese in an equal layer.

Mix all of the topping ingredients together in a small bowl and give it a good toss. Sprinkle uniformly over the surface of the dish.

Bake in an oven that has been prepared for approximately twenty to thirty minutes, uncovered, or until the topping has a light golden brown color.Warm the dish.
