Triple Berry Kahlua Crisp with Double the Crumble Recipe 

The majority of changes are positive. I could go back to eight hours of sleep and feeling like I have time to shower, but you take what you get. I consider my gains more valuable than my losses, albeit I would like to sleep all day soon. 

Ingredient

– 2 cups fresh strawberries quartered – 2 cups fresh blueberries – 1 1/2 cups fresh blackberries – 2-4 tablespoons kahlua depending on your taste – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/4 cup brown sugar – 1/2 a lemon zested – 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats use gluten free if needed – 6 tablespoons flour use gluten free if needed – 1/2 cup brown sugar – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter softened – Vanilla bean ice cream for serving

Heat the oven to 375°F. Mix strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries in a 12-inch cast iron skillet or 9x13-inch baking dish.

Pour in Kahlua, vanilla, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and lemon zest. Mix well.

Mix oats, flour, brown sugar (1/2 cup), baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a medium bowl.

Crumble the softened butter into the oats mixture with your fingertips until moist and evenly spread. Sprinkle crisp on fruit.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until crisp is golden brown and fruit bubbles and smells great.

With a huge scoop of ice cream and a sprinkle of skillet sauce, serve immediately. DEVOUR!
