Testy Best Classic Overnight French Toast Casserole Recipe

Getting up to the fragrance of cinnamon and fresh bread in the oven seems like a dream, right? This is easy using overnight French Toast Casserole!  

– 16 ounces crusty French bread cut into 1-inch cube – 8 large eggs well beaten – 2 cups whole milk – 1 cup heavy cream – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 1/2 cup light brown sugar packed – 1 tablespoon vanilla extract – 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon salt For the topping: – 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted – 1/4 cup light brown sugar packed – 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon – powdered sugar to serve – maple syrup to serve

Coat a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Put cubed bread in the baking dish and put aside.

16-ounce French crusty bread In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.

Whisk well until blended. It's acceptable if some cinnamon floats. 8 large eggs, 2 cups whole milk, 1 cup heavy cream, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup light brown sugar.

1 tablespoon vanilla essence, 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon salt Pour custard on bread cubes. Press the bread into the custard with a large spoon to soak it up.

Let the dish marinate in the fridge for 6 hours or overnight. Heat the oven to 350°F. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl until smooth.

Drizzle this over casserole. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, 1/4 cup light brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.

Bake 30 minutes under foil. Take off the foil and bake for 25–30 more minutes until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool for 15 minutes, slice, and serve with powdered sugar, maple syrup, or your favorite toppings. powdered sugar,maple syrup
