In order to get the desired consistency, the glaze should be thick while still being pourable; if necessary, additional powdered sugar or milk should be added.

Donuts should be dipped into the glaze one at a time, and if additional glaze is required, a spoon can be used to apply it on top of the donuts.

It is important that the glaze be sufficiently thick that it does not drop from the donuts. Wait three to five minutes on a draining rack that has been set inside of a half sheet pan.

Donuts should be decorated after the glaze has had some time to solidify. Oreo cookies can be cut in half to create panda ears.

To create the eyes of a panda, cut an Oreo cookie in half lengthwise. For the nose, you can use any of the remaining pieces.

To make the eyes appear more realistic, use a toothpick that has been dipped in glaze to apply a small amount of glaze to the middle of each eye.
