MINT CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES recipes

You only need three things to make these Mint Chocolate Truffles, and you can do it all in the microwave.  The best treat for chocolate and mint fans!

Ingredient

– 100ml double cream – 200g milk chocolate, broken into piece – ¼ tsp peppermint essence (we used Sainsbury's) – icing sugar, for rolling

1

Be sure to mix your full-fat coconut milk before heating. Heat coconut milk in a medium saucepan till simmering. Lower heat.

2

The hot cream should be flavored with chocolate chips or dark chocolate that has been diced.

3

Keep stirring until it melts. Put in the mint oil. Right now you can add salt or a little vanilla powder if you want to. Mix everything together. A little more chocolate should be in your chocolate.

4

Put the melted chocolate into a glass bowl (or another bowl that can handle heat). Put your truffle mix in the fridge for two to three hours with the plastic wrap on top.

5

Form truffles with a small ice cream scoop or metal spoon. Warm hands by rolling. It depends on truffle size, but I made 12 truffles.

6

You can now refrigerate or dip truffles in melted chocolate. Melt chocolate in small plates in the microwave for 30-40 seconds, stirring between 10 seconds.

7

Sprinkle green and/or white sprinkles on truffles immediately after dipping. Too much time and the chocolate will solidify and the sprinkles won't stay.

To ensure that the exterior of the truffles becomes a solid chocolate shell, place them in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
