Healthy Homemade Granola Recipe 

Do you adore granola? Find out how to create your own! Feel free to substitute your preferred dried fruit, nuts, and seeds into this recipe.

– 2 cups whole rolled oats – 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, (or almonds, or a mix of both) – 1/2 cup coconut flakes, optional – 2 teaspoons cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon sea salt – 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil – 1/4 cup maple syrup – 2 tablespoons creamy almond butter – 1/3 cup dried cranberries, optional

Set a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 300°F.

Blend oats, walnuts, coconut flakes, cinnamon, and salt in a medium bowl. Blend almond butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Shape the granola into a 1-inch oval on the baking sheet. Helps clump.

Bake 15 minutes, rotate the pan halfway, and fork-break the granola. Bake 15 minutes more until golden brown. If desired, add dried cranberries. Serve after 15 minutes of cooling.
