Easiest Chicken Fried Steak Recipe 

A crispy exterior and juicy, delicate inside make this Chicken Fried Steak superbly seasoned. Beautifully fried and topped with homemade gravy.  

– 4 cube steak  – 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour – 2 teaspoon salt – 1 teaspoon pepper – ½ teaspoon garlic powder – ½ teaspoon onion powder – ½ teaspoon smoked paprika – ½ teaspoon baking soda – ½ teaspoon baking powder – 1 cup buttermilk – 2 large egg – 1 cup vegetable oil – 2 cups milk – salt and pepper

Add remaining salt, pepper, garlic, onion, smoked paprika, baking soda, baking powder, buttermilk, and eggs to another dish.

Stir thoroughly. Cool the plates on a rack. Each steak should be dredged in flour, buttermilk, and flour again.

Cool the meat on the rack. Use leftover steaks. Hold 1/4 cup of flour mixture.

A big cast iron skillet over medium-high heat should achieve 350°F with the cup of vegetable oil.

Use tongs to put 1 or 2 steaks to the skillet, depending on size and how many can fit, and fry for 3–4 minutes until browned.

To brown the steaks, flip them and fry for 2–3 minutes. Put steaks on paper plates. Use leftover steaks.

Pour the frying oil into a heatproof basin without scraping the skillet's brown pieces.

Return ¼ cup grease to the skillet on medium-high heat. Add ¼ cup of flour mixture and whisk. Whisk for 2–3 minutes till it browns.

Mix in the two cups of milk with a whisk. Bring to a simmer and stir for an additional five minutes or until thickened.

Check for seasoning and add more salt or pepper if needed. Drizzle the steaks with the gravy before serving.
