INGREDIENTS
– 4 large egg– ¾ cup milk (180ml)– 2 tablespoons sugar– 1 tablespoon vanilla– ½ teaspoon cinnamon– 8 slices bread– Butter
INSTRUCTIONS
Set a big skillet on the stove and heat it to medium.
Step 1
Combine the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon in a large bowl using a whisk. Continue whisking until all of the ingredients are well incorporated.
Step 2
When the pan is hot, melt between one and two tablespoons of butter.
Step 3
Each slice of bread should be submerged in the egg mixture for a few seconds before being removed. In order to wet the other side, flip it over.
Step 4
After the bread has been soaked, carefully move it to the heated pan and cook it for around two minutes, or until it's golden brown.
Step 5
The opposite side should be cooked until it reaches a golden color. If preferred, serve the dish warm with more butter and maple syrup sprinkled on top.
