Chocolate Scones are easy to make and always rich and delicate with a few basic ingredients! Flaky layers make these scones popular.

– 2¼ cups all-purpose flour (270g) – ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (50g) – ¼ cup granulated sugar (50g) – 2½ teaspoons baking powder – ¼ teaspoon salt – ½ cup cold unsalted butter cubed (113g) – ⅓ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (60g) – 1 cup heavy whipping cream divided (240ml) For the Chocolate Glaze: – 1 cup powdered sugar (120g) – 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder – 2 tablespoons whole milk – ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Warm the oven up to 400F. Put parchment paper on the bottom of a baking sheet.

Step 1

Mix flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Toss flour and butter.

Step 2

Work the cold butter into pea-sized pieces using a pastry cutter or your fingers. Mix in chocolate chips.

Step 3

Step 5

Put in fridge for 15 minutes. Bake for 10–12 minutes, flipping the baking sheet halfway through, until puffed and dry. Let cool fully.

Step 6

For the Glaze:- Mix confectioners' sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and vanilla in a medium bowl until smooth. Glaze the cooled scones with chocolate.
