Crockpot Chipotle Pot Roast Tacos Recipe 

This recipe for Crockpot Chipotle Pot Roast Tacos features red verde sauce and jalapeño yoghurt. The finest tacos are filled. Chipotle-chili slow-cooked beef. Braised in fresh orange juice until caramelised and crumbly. Layer shredded beef, red salsa verde, jalapeño yoghurt, and cotija cheese in warm taco shells. Cheese, sauce, and heat make great tacos! Eat pot roast tacos year-round. 

Ingredient

– 2 yellow onions, sliced – 2 tablespoons chili powder – 1 tablespoon chipotle chile powder – 1 tablespoon smoked paprika – 1 tablespoon ground cumin – 1 tablespoon garlic powder – 1 tablespoon dried oregano – 1 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt – 1 (4 pound) chuck roast – 1 cup fresh orange juice – 1 tablespoon honey – 1 cup salsa verde – 12 hard or soft taco shells, warmed – Cilantro, green onion, avocado, and crumbled cotija cheese, for serving

Heat the oven to 325°F. Put onions in the bottom of a large oven-safe Dutch oven.

Mix chipotle, chilli powder, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, oregano, and 1 tablespoon salt in a bowl. Rub the roast with the spice mix and place on the onions.

Add orange juice, 3/4 cup water, and honey. Cover and roast until soft, 2 1/2–3 hours. Heat the oven to 425°F. Uncover and cook until top is fully caramelised, 10 minutes. Take the meat out of the pot and shred it with two forks.

Sprinkle salt on salsa verde and 1 cup braising sauce. Top warmed taco shells with beef, onions, cilantro, avocado, and cheese. Serve salsa verde. Enjoy!

Crockpot Place onions in the crockpot basin. Mix chipotle, chilli powder, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, oregano, and 1 tablespoon salt in a bowl.

Put the roast on the onions and massage with the spice mix. Add orange juice, 3/4 cup water, and honey. Cover and cook 5 hours on LOW or 3 hours on HIGH. Remove meat from crockpot and shred with two forks.

Sprinkle salt on salsa verde and 1 cup braising sauce. Top warmed taco shells with beef, onions, cilantro, avocado, and cheese. Serve salsa verde. Enjoy!
