Chocolate Chip Cookie Blondies Recipe 

One-pan Chocolate Chip Cookie Blondies are easy to make. They always turn out sweet and chewy with crisp, buttery edges and a soft centre. These chocolate chip cookie blondies are perfect for chocolate chip cookie lovers. 

– 2 cups + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda – 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted & cooled slightly – 1 1/2 cups brown sugar – 2 large egg – 1 tablespoon vanilla extract – 1 1/4 cups miniature semi-sweet chocolate chip

Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 9x13 baking pan with cooking spray and line with parchment.

A cooking spray will keep parchment paper in place. Or use cooking spray. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda in a bowl. Whisk to break clumps.

Mix melted and slightly cooled butter and brown sugar in a bowl or stand mixer. Blend until combined.

Step 3

Add egg and blend. Blend in the other egg and vanilla extract. Slowly add the flour mixture and mix until no flour pockets remain.

Step 4

Pour in the miniature chocolate chips, saving some for topping. Mix well.  Pour batter into pan and spread evenly.

Step 5

Sprinkle and press the reserved mini chocolate chips on top.   Bake 24-26 minutes.

Middle will be pale, edges will be light golden brown and "wrinkly". Let cool completely. Cooling these blondies takes an hour. Don't rush or they won't cut well.
