DIY Chicken Gyros have big flavour in a few easy steps. You can enjoy gyro night at home with a spice blend that balances herbs, smokiness, warmth, and scent!
– 2 pounds chicken thigh– ½ cup Greek yogurt– 2 tablespoon lemon juice– 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar– 2 tablespoons olive oil– 4 cloves garlic – 1 tablespoon cumin– 1 tablespoon oregano – 1 tablespoon smoked paprika– ½ teaspoon cinnamon– 1 teaspoon salt – 1 teaspoon pepper – 4 pita– ¼ cup tzatziki sauce– ½ red onion – ½ cup cherry tomatoe

Combine chicken and marinate in a big freezer bag. Squeeze to mix ingredients and refrigerate the bag.

Marinate 1-4 hours. Heat the oven to 425℉. Put a roasting rack on a baking sheet.

After lining the rack with the chicken, bake it for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the edges start to crisp up.

If you want the chicken to be even crispier without drying it out, you can broil it for two to three minutes.

Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Microwave pitas for 15-20 seconds or toast them individually in a dry skillet over medium-high heat.

A portion of the chicken should be placed inside the pita, and then tzatziki, onion, and tomatoes should be placed on top.
