Browned Butter Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe 

Brown Butter Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookies. Starting the weekend with these cookies is ideal. Brown butter, coconut, chocolate chips, pieces, and flaky sea salt. Delicious and easy—no summertime wasted! 

Ingredient

– 2 sticks (1 cup) salted butter – 3/4 cup light brown sugar – 1/4 cup granulated sugar – 2 eggs – 2 teaspoons vanilla extract – 2 cups all purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips – 1 cup unsweetened flaked coconut, lightly toasted – 2 ounces milk or dark chocolate chunk – Flaky sea salt, for topping

Over medium heat, add butter to a skillet. Brown the butter for 2-3 minutes till it smells toasted. Stir often. Remove the butter from the heat and place it in a mixing dish to cool to room temperature.

Start with a 350-degree oven. Parchment a baking sheet. Add brown and granulated sugar to the bowl and mix. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth. Beat in flour and baking soda.

Mix in chocolate chips and toasted coconut. Make tablespoon-sized dough balls and lay them 3 inches apart on the baking pan. Put 1-2 chocolate bits in each dough ball.

Sprinkle salt if desired. Bake the cookies for 8-11 minutes until the borders are just starting to firm but the centre is still doughy.

Remove cookies from oven and let them cool 5 minutes on the baking sheet. Eat warm (preferred) or chill and keep in an airtight jar for 4 days.
