Brown Rice Tortillas (Gluten-Free, Vegan) recipes

A simple way to make gluten-free tortillas at home is to use brown rice flour and arrowroot starch to make brown rice tortillas. These can be used to make tacos, quesadillas, and more! Vegan and no dairy.

Ingredient

– Brown rice flour – Arrowroot starch – Psyllium husk fiber – Avocado oil – Lemon zest

Direction

Mix flour, arrowroot starch, psyllium husk powder, salt, and lime zest in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly.

After you have added your avocado oil and stirred it to mix it, adding your warm water is the next step.

The ingredients should be stirred with a rubber spatula until it forms a dough.

Hand-form the dough into a ball. Cut ball into 8 pieces. Cover with a moist cloth for 5 minutes.

Roll out the dough to a circle with a diameter of around 5 to 6 inches using a rolling pin.
