The brown sugar glaze makes this Best Spiral Ham Recipe juicy and crispy! This easy-to-make baked ham is the perfect Easter or Christmas centerpiece.

– HAM– 1 spiral ham – ½ orange– 4 garlic clove– 6 sprigs fresh rosemary and thyme – GLAZE– ⅔ cup brown sugar– ¼ cup balsamic vinegar– ¼ cup orange juice– 2 Tablespoons dijon mustard– 1 teaspoon mild paprika

Preheat oven to 250°F.
Mix the glaze ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.

Eliminate packaging and discard any small plastic disk on the underside of the ham bone.

Line a shallow roasting pan with foil or a Silpat mat. Place the ham in it cut side down.

Put thinly sliced orange, garlic cloves, and sprigs of fresh rosemary and/or thyme between the slices all around the ham. Close it up with foil paper.

Ham should be baked for 13 to 16 minutes per pound until it reaches 140°F. After at least 1 1/2 hours, you don't need to check on or care for the ham.

In the last 20 minutes of cooking, take the ham out of the oven and pour the glaze over it.

Transfer to platter with two large, wide spatulas. After baking, let the ham rest for 15 minutes before cutting. If desired, drizzle pan glaze over ham before serving.
