This tasty banoffee pie has a buttery graham cracker crust with rich, creamy caramel that tastes like bananas. It is topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and chocolate curls.
Ingredient
– Banana– Sweetened Condensed Milk – Golden Sugar – Graham Cracker Crumbs – Butter – Heavy Whipping Cream
Direction
1
Get the crust ready. For 30 seconds, melt the butter in the microwave. Then, add the graham cracker crumbs and salt and mix them together.
2
Put the dough firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a tart pan. Put in the fridge while you make the filling.
3
Fill the shells.
Peel the bananas and cut them into 1-cm slices. Then, cut each slice in half to make 4-cm chunks.
4
In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter and golden sugar. Stir the mixture all the time until the sugar is gone.
5
Add the condensed milk and salt and stir as it boils quickly to make a thick, golden caramel. After the boil forms thick bubbles, boil for another minute and remove from heat. Avoid undercooking or the filling won't set.
6
Stir the bananas into the caramel immediately while it's warm to infuse it with banana flavour.
7
Put banoffee filling in tart case and refrigerate for two hours.
